Please note that Museum staff cannot answer enquiries about Friends events. The names and contact details of those responsible for booking social events, outings etc. are in the Friends events leaflet.

EMILY CARR IN BUSHEY

As a contribution to the Museum's Canada Day Garden Party on 2 July, our Joint Art Curator, Pat Woollard, explores the life of Emily Carr, one of Canada's most esteemed artists, and her connection to Bushey.

City of London tour guide John Thei tells us the history of the Jewish community in London from 1650 to 1880.

VISIT TO CHARTWELL, KENT - Former home of Sir Winston Churchill

Saturday 13 May Whole day outing by coach

The house is much as it was when the family lived there and the Studio contains the largest collection of Sir Winston's paintings. There are attractive gardens and the grounds offer plenty of space for walking. Refreshments and lunch available in the Café, or picnic in the meadow or lower lawn by the lake.
