Friends' Gifts

A selection of pictures and other works purchased by the Friends of Bushey Museum since their inauguration in 1985 and presented to the Museum.

Paintings will include watercolours and drawing by members of the early nineteenth century Monro Circle as well as works by Sir Hubert von Herkomer. Several of Herkomer’s students including Lucy Kemp-Welch and other artists up to the present day will be represented.

Also on display will be the distinctive lustrous ceramics from the Bushey Heath Pottery and a carved ottoman from Lululaund, Herkomer's home in Bushey.
